 April 21, 2013: The Zacara Polo Team's Cristian 'Magoo' Laprida in the opening 1st chukker of the USPA 26-goal Maserati 109th US Open Polo Championship at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, Florida. The Zacara Polo team defeated Valiente 16-13 in regulation time. Santi Torres of Valiente was named MVP & also from the Valiente team, David 'Pelon' Stirling's mare was awarded Best Playing Pony with the award presented by Piaget's Lauren Duffy. | 20 Goal USPA Joe Barry Memorial Cup International Polo Club Palm Beach, Wellington, FL January 27, 2013: As promised, an exciting match final of the 20 goal USPA Joe Barry Memorial Polo Cup was played today at IPCPB. Crab Orchard defeated Audi, Matias Magrini was named MVP & Mariano Aguerre was awarded the BPP award for his mare. Earlier in the day, Valiente defeated La Herradura in the 20 goal Bobby subsidiary final. Adolfo Cambiaso's mare 'Miami' that he played in the 4th chukker was named BPP in the subsidiary cup. Juan Martin Nero was named MVP and with the help of team mates Alejo Taranco & Santiago Stirling (3x Gold Cup winner 2009 with Dos Lunas, 2010 with Ellerston & 2012 with Lechuza Caracas), they made up the best team of the season.
